Half-Day Session: Language of the Natural World (Saturday, 7/12, 12:00-3:00 PM EST)
Beautyberry, fox sedge, milkvetch, hogpeanut…the natural world is full of amazements, but so is the language we use to name it. This half-day session, which focuses on generating and developing work, will include prompts, writing time, and community, and will explore techniques for using the language of the natural world to craft surprising and vivid poems. Open to all experience levels! Participants will leave this session with three new poems started and at least partially developed.
