We all have them—the put-aside poems. The one that started so promisingly but ran out of steam; the disastrous one with that absolutely fantastic image; the one that’s been through a thousand revisions but still isn’t quite there.
This zero-judgement session will start by exploring strategies for re-seeing and re-conceptualizing these put-aside poems, lines, and fragments. Then we’ll do some writing, putting concrete techniques into action as we approach these familiar poems in new ways. Come with a poem that needs some new life!
